Cookbook Storage

Remember that 100+ year old wooden box that I got at a tag sale last month? I found the perfect place for it. I filled it with my smaller cookbooks and extra recipe cards and put it on the shelf above the cookbooks. It looks so cute! And it comes in handy. The small cookbooks were always getting lost between the larger normal sized ones and I was always losing my blank recipe cards!

  1. I'd be interested in seeing more of your kitchen.
We have a 1820's N.E. Brick Farmhouse in Mass. and are remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. I'm struggling with keeping it true to the house style, but with modern updates. Overhead lighting is an issue, hate to use recessed lighting, but my kitchen is dark. My WOW purchase is going to be a copper farmhouse sink.
Love all your posts and pics!

  2. Hi Cheryl,
I'd love to see a picture of your house! It's pretty close to the age of our house (50 years difference).

Our kitchen isn't done yet, but if you click this link ( you can see our progress so far. I can put together a post with a 3d model I did of our kitchen so you can see what it will look like when it's done. We're very close to being done... we just need to find the time to finish it! Every weekend in the summer is usually booked up! Our plan is to have it 100% complete by Christmas!
